OC'ing help

I just put this together sunday:

Asus A7N8X Deluxe rev2
Barton 2500 (retail) stays about 40C under load w/ 21c chassis
1 GB Geil Golden Dragon Dual Channel kit
eVGA FX 5900 Ultra (prefer to my bros 9800Pro)
Enermax 350W psu

runs great nice to see bf1942 with everything on full and still very playable


Can someone help me to overclock my cpu. i know how to go about it but i dont know how to test it or if i should let my6 computer "burn in" for about 2 weeks b4 i start to overclock it? Thanx
