Since I'm new to overclocking, I want to ask before I do something stupid :p. I have a Built by ATI Radeon 7500 64 MB PCI, and would like to know what speeds you guys recommend for my 7500 without getting it to close to the Heat threshold. I do not plan on physically modifying my card. It still has the heatsink that came with it. :p

i dont have a clue, but just download a reliable oc'ing program (powerstrip, rivatuner, etc.) and oc your card 5-10 mhz at a time on both gpu and mem. if you have a looping benchmark to run, or just loop the more intensive tests in 3dmark01 for a while to test for artifacts or flashing textures. if you see either one, clock ur card down 10-15 mhz and that is about as high as you can go. btw....it's almost impossible to damage your card this way in case u r wondering. the artifacts and flashing textures are not a sign of damage, just a sign of excessive heat. just discontinue the benchmark and clock the card down some.
