Yup and they have even more goodies in store for crossfire owners:
"We are also getting ready an Crossfire profile update ready to post in the next few days that will improve performance even more. For example rumor has it that Battlefield2: Bad Company will see an FPS increase from 40 to 70"

The performance is the same as 10.3 preview, but so far this one fixed the BF: BC2 flickering issue!

Nice :D. Cant wait to use them when I get home from work.
/me cant wait for 10.3 final drivers
This will add a little more heat to the upcoming war :D
The drivers are amazing..
Running Bad Company 2 MP, at all very high settings, 1xMSAA, 2560X1440 res, and never drop below 60fps, with a single 5970. don't even have my dual 5970's up and running yet... WOW!!!!!

Why not put that 5970 to use and use 8xSSAA + dx9 instead of dx11? :)
What is the difference bewteen DX9 and DX11 in this game?
Wonder how these help the other ATI dx10 cards. Maybe a 3850/3870/2900xt can run BC2 acceptably after all.
FWIW I'll test these on my 4850 & 4870 very soon. :)

Visually all rendering modes are similar IMO. But DX9 has no AA support.

But with dx9 you can force SSAA via the ccc. :)

That's nice. Didn't know that.

Doesn't seem to work for BF:BC 2 though.. No matter as the game looks absolutely horrible in dx9. Dx11 + AA looks good enough. :)
Will try these tonight - see if I can squeak out any more performance from my aging 4870. :)
Edit: Very nice. Slight performance increase in Metro 2033 - 30-40 fps for the most part, but was able to enable AAA and 2x edge detect - which was just a bit much with the 10.2s for me.
Having tested anything else yet.

So they're worth it for a single 5870? I'm still on 10.2 and haven't bothered with these yet.
seems ok here...think its a little smoother for me in bfbc2..only thing i can test since thats all i play now lol

Well I installed and tried the Heaven bench.
Heaven bench gained +5FPS. Went from 41FPS @ 1920x1200 DX11 to 46FPS. That's a single HD 5870 @ 1030|1300. It was run with default filtering at the indicated res. That's 10.2 vs 10.3a.
I'll try DiRT2 later.
I hope AMD keep up with DX11 boosts.

Sounds like some of that 1.25bn from Intel made it's way to driver development...

Metro 2033 runs like crap with 10.2, anybody tried with 10.3a. HD5870 -> utter crap. No game runs fine.
