Check it out if you want to test DXVA 2 GPU decoding on NVIDIA cards for Vista/7 only.

It's got some bugs like a fullscreen bug where you have to double click the screen twice to get it into fullscreen. Another issue is that videos might play worse with DXVA 2 enabled (especially if captions are on).

Works great, i was seeing around 15-20% cpu usage with mpc and now it doesn't go over 5%.

And what would be the exact benefit of it under Debian? VLC uses VDPAU under Linux, DXVA is for Windows :P
