I'm going to Colorado for a week. What should I see?

Heh, the thread title sure could make for some funny answers... go ahead... :rolleyes: :D...

I went to Loveland in 2k1 to visit my mom, and ended up goin to denver a couple times (teh ghetto in teh summer... jeez :eek: ), went to Redrocks, went to Wild Bill's gravesite, took some old narrow format train ride up a mining mountain, partied my butt off... in general I had a good time...

So, I'll be in the Denver/Loveland area... sometimes without much to do, and definitely not much money. We're gonna take my daughter to the zoo, and maybe hit the mountains once or twice...

Anybody know of other kewl stuff to do out there?

My mom has a nice network in the basement with P3's and GF2mx's, i think... but I'm not going out there to experience any PC's... I wanna LOUNGE! My job in industrial electronics is about to change (movin up to outside sales, I'll be outta state a lot more... new stuff to me cuz I've spent my entire adult life on the manufacturing end of industrial electronics subcontracting... I've worked in the "upstairs" offices, but that was years ago, creating a Document control system and organizing/entering bills of material/doing labor quotes) ... and all the change is happenin in the next month, and my whole life is about to get flipped upside down... time with daughter/time with gf/time with work/time @ nvnews:rolleyes: ... so this 1 week vacation is *kinda* how I'm kissing mid twenties John Grabski III (yep, I'm a pollock! :D) goodbye... and if I gotta do that, then I wanna go out with a bang...

Best clubs out there?
Best local beer?
Best radio station?
Best view?
Best "doin it" spot?

I know some of you can help me with *some* info...

Well, I'm here now... jeez, it's beautiful out here... I hate how long flights lower your IQ by about 50 points... I'm just now getting my wits back.

More on this later, I'm gonna enjoy doin NOTHIN for a while... I haven't taken real time off from work in a couple years...

Well , if you wanna come down to the springs, I can show you where I work ( network gaming center ) , but it sucks and I hate working here, but its easy and im lazy and for some reason they go hand in hand.

For doing anything exciting out here in colorado. Denver is the only place that I can think of deccent clubs and places to go really. The springs is pretty touristy ( sp ), and probably nothing you'd like here other than Pikes Peaks ( a big mountain on the horizion ). Anyways.. try and have fun. I've gotten pretty bitter about this place, and the only thing I've found decent around here, is the mountain biking, and even that isn't that great for me. I perfer San Diego ( my previous home ) to this place, because there are nice trails all in close driving distance to where I lived. There are definate " awesome things to do " in colorado, just don't know what and where.

btw, my mom's network is a little wussier than I expected... best machine is a Celly 2.0 with integrated gfx... no gaming for me this week... :rolleyes: ;) I need to enjoy my family that's out here anyway...
