looking for Matrox Reef Demo

hi all,

just wondering if anyone has the matrox reef demo , or knows of a site where i could download it from , i've been after it for ages but with no luck, i've tried everywhere kazaa, emule etc..you guys are my last hope..

if anyone could help out could you plz PM me details.

d/l the reef demo here (http://www.rilot.co.uk/reef/ReefDemo.zip) and the3d analyze here (http://www.tommti-systems.com/main-Dateien/TOOLS/dontlinkthefile_3danalyzer-v21.exe)

1)Download 3d Analyze.

2)Download and install the Matrox Reef Demo

3)Run 3d Analyze: select the location of the exe file for the reef demo (box 1), select the exe file itself (box 2), and then check the box for the Reef Demo fix. Save it and that will creat a batch file in the reef demo directory. Go to that directory and run the batch file...it will start up the reef demo with the fix

i downloaded both a while ago, but the demo never works right on my 4200. no textures.

i think GF4 line doesn't have support for quad texturing , or somthing like that , whatever Matrox is advertiseing DX9 cards should run it no problem as does Radeon 9700Pro , anyone tried it on GFFX ?

I just tried it on my FX5900Ultra 256MB and there are no textures.

i have run the demo and the graphics are awesome , poor nvidia owners won't be able to see this amazing demo.:)

This demo has been out for quite some time now I think. Months right? At least three or four. And it still rocks...

A bummer the nvidiots won't be able to run it.

NVIDIA cards have to use software T&L in order to run the Reef Demo correctly. I have tried it on my old Ti4600 and it ran gloriously. Downloading it now to test it on an NV35 Ultra...

Well, I finally got hold of the demo but, even with SW T & L, I get absolutely no textures on my FX 5900 using the 45.23 drivers..... :-(

Any ideas anyone?

damn you matrox! i want this.. matrox are the ones responsible for it being hard to fine BTW.. it's like all they have to lure people into buying a parhelia;)

I hope ATi make some nice demos like this with the R420.. would be nice to be able to set them as a screen saver too, even if it would put your comp under full load they purtyness would be worth it!!:p
