Ebuyer (http://www.ebuyer.co.uk)

Probably the best online store for the UK dealing with computer parts. In March I ordered a Belkin powersurge strip. The delivery never arrived and it was sent back to the manufacturer I however did not find this out until last month...

In April I rang regarding the order because I expected a refund within a few days. I was told they would deal with this, last month I got sick of waiting and rang again, this is when I found out where it turned up and that there was a credit notice for me to be refunded and she would deal with that. Low and behold one month later I still do not have my refund, any advice on some words to throw in tommorow because I am giving them a bollocking about this now:mad:

is mr flibble on vacation ?

:D

seriously speaking... we have methods of recourse here in the states .. not sure if you have the same sort of consumer relations setup there in england... but I would assume so...

consider checking your legal options and armed with that info call them up and let them know in no uncertain terms that you intend to royally bugger them up the ass if you are not given what you were promised...

I am presuming you have documentation about the recall and what not that you have listed ?

documentation ALWAYS helps... and bank statements as well will be lovely if it indeed does get to that... :)

there is no way in hell you should have to wait that long unless that is the normal procedure... in which case you would have been informed about it (in the university I attend/work in... refunds can take upto 6 weeks from certain auxilary departments but the customers are informed prior to processing with written documentation that they sign to acknowledge this)..

*bump* Yeah I can do that:p

I rang this morning about it and informed them of the situation, the idiot on the phone simply replied "we refunded it back in march".

OK so when I rang last month they had a credit notice for me to be refunded and they then decided they refunded my cash in march:confused: I'm going over my bank statements with a fine tooth comb tonight and then preparing legal action against them if I am right about this.

I have to say I've been dealing with Newegg (http://www.newegg.com) forever and a day and have never had a problem out of them, the only thing I didn't
like was having to pay to return a defective video card, but you'd have to do that anywhere anyhow.

The only thing I dislike about Newegg is that it is a American based firm. Which means lots of shipping costs:(

Hopefully just the thread of legal action will get them off their arses to sort this out.
