There was a review at a site using non-standard benchmarks, such as WC3, No One Lives Forever, etc. The 5900 at 450 lost horribly, but the e-GFFX at 500 won a lot of the tests IIRC. The extra 50 MHz helps a lot.

yes but 350 kicks some butt with higher clock rates. I think R360 is gonna outperform nv38

There was a review at a site using non-standard benchmarks, such as WC3, No One Lives Forever, etc. The 5900 at 450 lost horribly, but the e-GFFX at 500 won a lot of the tests IIRC. The extra 50 MHz helps a lot.

Don't think so... Check out the reviews again at gamepc.com. The GeForce FX card loses out JUST AS BAD when clocked at 500/900. A shame, really...

Why in the world has everyone been spelling in Loci then :( I guess it became "Loki" a little while ago. A few months back I swear everyone was calling it "Loci."

Can you post a link? I checked the site you said, they seem to have taken out the e-GFFX from the review.

Nope, it's his source fault, because his source did a typo and said Loci instead of Loki.

So for several months, everyone say Loci by mistake... :(

Oh, and, well, actually,I don't know for sure: I think it was a typo, but then again, I don't know who that source was, and it's in fact quite likely he was in a position where he couldn't have known whether it was Loki or Loci for sure.
So don't take that as a given, because frankly, it shouldn't be! :) Just speculation.

the loci typo rumor we heard was just speculation, not fact.
