Different Brands in SLI?

I currently have a BFG GTX 285 OCX, With the new 4**'s coming out I was thinking of trying to get hold of a second hand 285. The OCX's seem a little thin on the ground and I was wondering if I could just get any brand of 285 to do the job?

i dont run sli but im pretty sure the answer is yes u can. as long as its the same model card.

yes, any brand is fine, just make sure its a 285.

Different brands used to be a problem but no longer. As long as it's the same model you're fine.
