In an extremely long thread, some people that bought EVGA Geforce FX 5900 Ultra appear to have some problems with the cards. The title topic is "5900+Ultra+issues

But looking at the thread it appears to to me that this problem may well be DirectX related and could easily be a driver problem

Users have reported lock ups is 3Dmark03, Half life, Raven Shield and Ghost Recon in the seemingly endless thread.

One thing that might hurt Nvidia's feelings is that the Radeon 9700 works without any problems with all these applicationsa

Don't have an FX to test those games but sure as hell they do run perfect on my 9700 Pro.
