As the title states. Paid altogether $500 CDN. Hopefully I can sell my Syncmaster 216bw for a reasonable price to offset. My birfday was on the 11th so this is like a gift :)

I feel sticky.

:eek2: just don't get it all over your new monitor, or your video card for that matter if you remember that old thread...

I hope it will be worth it. It's well over $100 more than a comparable Asus or Samsung model.

Bob I think you made a good choice, I really want that monitor. Let us know how it goes.

you got yours for 399 right? I got mine when they have for 448. How long after you got the "shipped" email did it get to your place?

Fyi, there were some on www.dell.com/outlet in the monitors section earlier today. Not sure if they are still there.

It has arrived, haven't tried to calibrate yet, as I gotta go work out and get my jack on :bleh: Any software or sites that help, maybe with this particular model?

Damn, lookin around, tons of people were unhappy with the factory presets, and I don't feel like paying for calibrating software :|

Just remember Bob, tons of people are also morons and wouldn't be happy with the air that they breathe.
If you are happy with the way it looks then who cares what those morons say? If on the other hand you aren't happy with the way it looks then join the ranks of the morons. :p

I got mine for $600, it shipped in less than a week. Then it went on sale for about $400 a week later, I phoned in for my money back and they gave me a $150 credit on the dell website. What can you do :/

Plug in power cord.

Plug in the Display Port cord.

Receive Bacon THEN get your game on.

Fixed

Can't get the last 2 to show a difference in firefox, but in IE I can barely see a diff.

Also, are you using sRGB mode?

bob saget
04-21-10, 11:21 PM

But seriously, I wouldn't worry about it. It's not like you are doing professional photo work. If you were, you wouldn't have bought a U2410.

Yea no, it should be fine. I am surprised how bright it is. I turned brightness down to 30, but may bring it even lower.
