View Full Version : Driving School Sucks!!!
So this whole week I have driving school. Instead of sleeping till 1 pm, I get to wake up at 7, get ready then get to a classroom full of strangers. It sucks, because they know each other but I don't know them so I feel like a loner. :(
30 hours, 12 done, 18 to go. Tomorrow I have to bring in a project, and we have a midterm. The final is 100 questions, multiple choice, matching, and open response.
It's in a neighboring town, but I don't know my way around it. When its time for lunch (30 minutes) I don't know where to go, and am forced to follow one of them and eat lunch alone.
The only upside is there are 2 hot girls in my class, and I feel like they're flirting with me, but then again it might just be my imagination.
This thing is costing me $200 which I don't have. So my parents had to pay for it. When I get a job this is the first thing I have to pay. I'm already in debt!!!
Because of this, and driving lessons, and a car I'm probably not going to get a new rig for a long time.
This week has been horrible, and still 3 days left!

The girl situation is haunting me, I noticed one of their last names on a school sweatshirt, and facebooked her. I found her, but I feel it would be so weird, if I friend requested her, because we don't know each others names. And also from the looks of her facebook, she seems REALLY popular, and I'm not, so I don't think I'm on her "level."
God life sucks sometimes.

1) I'm usually at work BY 6AM. You have to wake up at 7? Lol. People in this world get somewhere by working hard. Deal with it.
2) So you don't know where to go for lunch? Talk to some people. Meet some people.
3) no new rig for a while? Tough luck. There's more to life than your PC.
And lastly...
4) yes. You are now on debt. This goes back to #1. Work hard and you can minimize risk and debt in your life.
To sum up - I realize this a rant. We all have those. But your week doesnt suck. Just one of a million things you won't want to do in life. There's millions that have it much worse.

Anyways, this is my first ever experience in the "real world." This is honestly the first time I've ever had to be in a new place alone and had to make my own decisions. Maybe not as far as that, but yea.
Also, it's kind of hard to just "meet new people", High school isn't the same it was (what was it, 30, 40 years ago?) People like talking to people they know, they dislike meeting someone new, at least in my experiences. God, I hate Americans. :bleh:

You get a pass. I bitched at first when I was a freshmen in highschool. Bitched about my first job. (stopped after first paycheck lol) It natural. Your just letting frustrations out.
**** gets harder/worse. Sorry. In some ways it also gets cooler/better. Its a mixed bag. I will tell you that personally for me, college has been an incredibly painful experience. Some are lucky and have that period of pain during highschool. Some get it during college, others after college. Some unlucky folks just get it there whole life. Can't really offer any postive words.

Its not like hell. You just have to do it. And btw. YOu don want to have driving exams in Poland ... Its hell here. Only below 30% of people are getting pass in first 3tries. I actually passed after 7th try and I quite a good driver.

At lunch now, still sitting alone. It sucks, the hotter girl isn't here today so it sucks more. But I got an 88 on the midterm which is pretty bad. We need an 80 on the final to pass.

Last day today. On the final the max possible was 105, and you had to get an 80 to pass. I got a 103. Pretty beast considering I never opened my notebook.
Nothing happened with the two girls, one of them was talking to someone else from school the whole time. And the other was flirting with another (both had a relationship, which is weird).
Anyways, I passed and that's all behind for now.
Going to a parking lot shortly to find my way around a manual without properly learning automatic. Manual seems easy right now (by the look of it), but I feel like it will be tough **** when I actually try it.
So yea. Thanks for the encouragement. I can always rely on you guys to cheer me up, and bring me up when I'm sad... assholes

True. Manual is tough ****. I made the car shake violently multiple times. My dad kicked me out, because I would damage the car.
IDK, if I want to drive manual.. lol it seems so hard, and you get nothing from it.
Basically it comes down to one thing.
Which is better?
Left hand on the window, and right hand at 12 oclock.

Left hand at 12, and right hand at the stick shift.
I'm still thinking. One of my teachers said that when he was younger his best days were when he took out girls on his car, and there was a turn. I guess a manual gives you a fantastic feeling when turning. hmm
