Got my 9800P today......:D
My 9700p died a mysterious death when pelted ( never had a chance to be condensation)......... wonder if this one will also.;)
460/360 so far ( stock cooler/no mods)....
Pretty physched, as that was what my 9700p did when water cooled with ice water and vmods.......
I smell a pelt ( 156w) and some volt mods.
I'll be back........:D

460 is already probly at the top of most of the cards that get shipped. I think with more cooling you can push 500 easy heh.
BTW, incldue pictures of the mod!
You bet GS.
Looking for 520+ hopefully

Did you check the 460 core for artifacts? A good tester is the nature test in 3dmark03, I bet money you get artifacts at 460. Most 9800p's only do 430ish at best without artifacting.

be careful and go easy. also if you can get 520 on the core and your cpu is 4GHz or higher pentium4, you could break 23k easy in 2001 where it matters and be famous
460 does have slight artifacts in Nature ( not bad either I was surprised, and so far no lockups), they will clear when I do the modding.
Looks like I have to break out my benching barrel again...... the one that stores lots of ice water....... :D.
I don't own a P4, I want 23k+ on an AMD system.

be very careful before vold modding, I am not kidding, some did it to the ram and fried it in 15 min too. volt mod gave him just 15MHz more. If you do it, go for the core and leave the ram alone. also if the volt mod does not give much of an oc increase, can you quickly reverse the v mod?

It's not permanent if you use an SMD grabber :)
