Got your attention anyway:p

Article (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/3079927.stm)

Prime Minister Tony Blair has faced intense questioning over the apparent death of Iraq weapons expert Dr David Kelly, but says judgment must wait until an inquiry is complete.

He was asked if he had "blood on his hands" during a press conference in Tokyo, where he was meeting his Japanese counterpart on the first leg of a tour of the Far East.

Mr Blair said an independent judicial inquiry into the affair was due to be held and said "we should make our judgement after we get the facts".

It does seem a bit strange that he died after he was named as the person who talked to the BBC, but we are not in Deus Ex I guess:D

Yeah its too convineint, my guess is its the IRA wanting to make the government look bad. The british intel services are a little bit better than dumping the body a few miles away where it would be found the next day..

I'm not sure, they did use some kids report on Iraq as evidence:angel:

Seems things like this always start out this way.

First the accusations, opposing sides always scream "politics", then people who are connected in some way shape or form start dropping dead...

Kinda makes you wonder how it ends...

I am sure it has something to do with sherlock holmes saying "its elementary my dear watson" before breaking the case wide open...

Pressure on Blair builds (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/3080939.stm)

This is really all very messy... *hopefully* the truth will out at the judicial inquiry, more likely not. Two schools of thought seem to be...

1. Dr Kelly seemed to have been let down badly by his MOD bosses, who it seems could have been quite happy for him to have been the fall guy in this affair.

2. The vendetta by the BBC to nail the PM and his spin doctors over the "sexing up" of the Iraq dossier... henceforth leading to the recent tragic events.

Tony boy is skating on thin ice atm... I wonder if Gordon Brown is getting itchy for that PM position yet?

I don't think Tony has a chance in hell at been elected again. Apparently he had a cut wrist and some asprine were found close by, still seems rather fishy that the guy would just kill himself.:eek2:

I'm going to be next!! :D

tstststs

and apparently the last person who saw him walking that day said that he was smiling ???

+ he wrote an e-mail the day before that he was waiting until the end of the week to see the results of the enquiry...

and he was a weapons inspector, I doubt that the media pressure could make him kill himself and leave the family behind, retire - that is understandable, but suicide??? doh...

Seems the BBC is taking more flak over this by the day...

the bbc appear more and more likley to be the ones with blood on their hands as time passes...

1. Dr Kelly had his claims altered twice from the origional reporting

2. Dr Kelly never mentioned alisdair campell

3. The bbc broke its code of conduct in never giving away the name of its informant

All of these pressures were compounded on Dr Kelly who was given a far worse time than any other person who was put before the judicial enquiry, where he was seen to be quite visibly distressed.

Lastly, I dont like Tony Blair but i doubt the government was stupid enough to blatantly kill a key witness in the biggest news story of the past month..

true, it seems to bbc did some beefing up here as well.

3. The bbc broke its code of conduct in never giving away the name of its informant

actually the bbc was pressured to do that by the british government, they refused to give out their informants name for a long time.

All of these pressures were compounded on Dr Kelly who was given a far worse time than any other person who was put before the judicial enquiry, where he was seen to be quite visibly distressed.

so where did this pressure come from? the labour party. seeing how dr. kelly was treated his "examination" im not surprised he turned out that way :( why blame the bbc for that as they tried to protect him?

Lastly, I dont like Tony Blair but i doubt the government was stupid enough to blatantly kill a key witness in the biggest news story of the past month..

agreed. i see them at fault for the way they pressured kelly which evidently seemed to have broken him down.
