View Full Version : 9800pro temps???
Anyone know any way to check the temps of Radeons? I know the FXs have a temp reader so I was wondering if the Radeons have something like that.

I couldn't find anything... but a thread @ Rage3D has some info on a chap who used an infra red camera to check how hot his card was.

It would be nice to have monitoring... several Leadtek cards I had in the past had it... and the FX5800 I'm currently playing around with has it.

I put a thermal sensons beneeth my heatsink and it was touching the core. It reports down to 50c when idle and up to 70/75c when stressed. With my zalman ZM80A it was down to 45c idle and up to 65-70 when stressed. The passive Zalman does a better job in my case.
