LOL Classic look. Dude, Mercedes hasn't changed the look of their cars in 10 years, and you make it sound like that's a good thing.
I would rather drive around in ANY BMW, Banglized or not, than a boring boxy Mercedes.
And as for comparing the E46 M3 to the AMG C55, lol the C55 is fugly and boring to drive. :afro:

And if you don't know yet, there is a new S-Class and ML-Class coming in 2005. The new S-Class will have an iDrive type controller not only for the front, but for the REAR passengers too!
There is also an SL65 AMG around the corner with over 600 horsepower. After tuning, it will have around 800 horsepower!
There will also be an E65 AMG in 2005-2006 with 600 horsepower and 7G-TRONIC transmission. Say "bye bye" to new M5. :rofl

LOL Dude, you really need a GF.
You can blabber on about AMG this and Mercedes that all day if you like, but it won't change a thing.
Mercedes still suck, and you feeling you constantly have to defend them just proves my point.
Mercedes can try all they like with their new engines, but they will NEVER match the driveability of the BMW. Besides, we have a V10 coming too........................
horsepower is not king :)
I dun really care bout horsepower... the drive of the car and the low/mid range torque are the deciding factors for me :)
never driven a C series amg... a C series yes... but not the amg...
keep us posted on the drive of the baby...
as far as the m5 is concerned... if the new m5 has anything in common with the 2002/2003 m5... it will be a fabulous machine to drive... the looks are more a personal preference.... admittedly the new bimmers are not as 'classic' to look @... BUT... they don't look BAD... :)
as for the LED lights :) the best LED lights on the market belong to infiniti's g-35 coupe :D and therefore I suspect the new Nissan skyline's in japan as well

"NEVER match the driveability if the BMW." Hmm...
Have you actually DRIVEN a Mercedes-Benz?
And I'll posts some reviews soon regarding the "driveability" of a Mercedes-Benz.

Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG vs. BMW M5 vs. Audi RS 6 vs. Jaguar S-Type R.

I am not a fany of Merc's boby style. I don't think they are ugly but just plain looking. I especially don't like the ribbed (for her pleasure) tail lights. I tend to lean towards BMWs personally.

This Audy looks uncomfortable to drive. either that or the guy has a serious hunch in his back.

yes but your post references the m5 v/s e65 I believe... saying the e65 or whatever had 600 odd hp :)
whats the overall torque on those babies ?
its like the rx8.... torque is around low to mid hundreds... while horsepower is above 250...
hp don't mean jackall to me unless I am only going to be driving @ high speeds and overtaking @ those speeds... where higher hp comes into play.... low-mid end torque is much better indicator of overall performance for me..

BMW will always be better no matter how many links you pimp to try and convert us:p
It's like trying to tell us the earth is flat, it aint gonna happen!:p :D

LOL What I find so funny is that you seem to actually get ANGRY when we say the Merc's suck. Sounds like this certain Mac loser that I know. You insult the Mac, he takes it like you just insulted his mother, chill man. Just because YOU have no taste, doesn't me we have to also. :p
As for the new S (for slug) class having front and rear iDrive controller, our 745i already has it, so Mercedes is behind..........again. :p
Have I ever driven a Mercedes? Yes, and I almost fell asleep. Granted, that was a few years ago, but I can only imagine they haven't really changed. Bigger engine sure, but that doesn't effect driveability.

whats the overall torque on those babies ? Considering that the current E55 AMG has 700 Nm of torque, I'm guessing around 1000 Nm? :D
The CL65 AMG has 604 horsepower and 1000 Nm of torque, I'm guessing the E65 AMG has the same engine.
