Whole system freezes after 'startx' command and only reboot helps.
No Xorg.0.log is created (I think system has no time to flush disk cache), and no coredumps.
This is FreeBSD 9.0 CURRENT amd64, but it worked for me with 195.22 and FreeBSD9 i386 on the same hardware. Please let me know if I can help you to debug the problem.
