I'm looking at getting a new monitor setup for office use, definately LCD based. My price limit is around $1600.

A) Samsung 210T 21" LCD

Technical Specs (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00006JHUC/ref=e_de_a_td/102-8290101-4576919?v=glance&s=electronics&n=507846&vi=tech-data)

B) 2 Samsung 172T 17" LCD's

Technical Specs (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00007KQKI/ref=e_de_a_td/102-8290101-4576919?v=glance&s=electronics&n=172282&vi=tech-data)

C) 2 Samsung 191T 19" LCD's

Technical Specs (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000065AGC/ref=e_de_a_td/102-8290101-4576919?v=glance&s=electronics&n=172282&vi=tech-data)

D) 3 Samsung 171P 17" LCD's

Technical Specs (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000065AG9/ref=e_de_a_td/102-8290101-4576919?v=glance&s=electronics&n=172282&vi=tech-data)

I'm only really looking at Samsung offerings right now because they are the only LCD's I have looked at and actually been impressed with, however, I have not looked at many other brands so other recommendations are welcome.

Thanks in advance, I'm really having trouble making a decision.

Ill go with B

there is simple rule smaller LCD have better rise and fall MS , that what eliminates ghosting effects in games , 20" LCD is overkill it would have some 30 - 40 MS (im guessing here)

go with 17" and or good 19"

P.S posting some spec would greatly help or atleast a link ;)

Done, sorry about that :)

The response time on the 21 inch is 35ms, which is a tad high. But I doubt I will be using the monitors for much gaming.

I call 'em LSD Monitors because, well...if you play a 3D video game on one of them, that's exactly what it feels like - playing the game on a few hits of window pane! Office use, they're excellent. But for gaming, it just makes you feel like you've been shroomin! :p

You might at least consider a Dell 2000FP... 25ms response and at times you can get it for well under a grand. Well worth it, IMHO. I replaced my F500R with it and haven't looked back. Works well for gaming with very minimal motion blur (IMHO).

20.1" viewable! :)

Hmmm, I cant find many reviews.

Can you take a picture of it on your desk??

We use several Dell 2000FP at work, and all (with one exception) that has one is happy with it. Of course nobody has tried gaming on it, but it's has a sharp clear image.. and is large.

You can find pictures on Dell's website.

* Note, the one exception is a person that uses a KVM-switch between the monitor and the PC which causes the image to be slightly out of focus, but this is probably causes by a low-quality KVM-switch/cables.
