no improvement for me versus 197.45. maybe even less performance, a little too soon to tell though ...

What's the date on these?

I'll give em a try when I get home tonight.

I'm getting the same performance I got with Quadro 197.90. New PhysX runtime came with these drivers. A lot of performance improvements over 257.15 for me

Using a GTS250 1GB.

Still no 3D Vision Surround in these drivers. Phooey.

Clock speeds still don't downclock to idle speeds with dual monitors, but Nvidia have said in the release nots it's a hardware limitation, even though I'm sure they said it'd be fixed with these drivers...

Yeah, I just tested. Same as the 257.15s. Wish I would get more than 50-60% GPU usage in SLI in BFBC2...

Yep, 1920x1200, 8xCSAA, 16xAF, HBAO on Bloom on and everything maxed.

For grins, I disabled SLI and I am getting 55-65 FPS WITH ONE CARD!!!

what kind of gpu usage did you get with 197.45 WHQL? on my other rig that has an i5 @ 3.3ghz and dual 8800's i get 60-100% gpu usage.

I got my first bsod with these. I've been using the 257.15s with no trouble at all. 'whocrashed' suggested the Nvidia driver, but with a disclaimer that other software may be involved. If it continues I'll uninstall Afterburner, as I've had issues with it before, and see if that does the trick.

IQ and performance wise in Metro, L4D and The Witcher, very happy with this set.

I'll be putting these on my rig soon, although the betas have given me no problems thus far.

I'm using the 257.15s as well. I will stick with these until something better comes along.

These are pretty nice sans the bsod (just a slight show-stopper there:p) but if it turns out to be afterburner I'll go back to the 15s anyway. I like the fan control.

These seem to be running well. I had reinstalled Afterburner the other day and forgot to un-tick the fan in monitoring so I had some stutter again until I realized that. Be sure to do that if you use Afterburner, precision or Rivatuner as the polling is still causing problems.

That's my guess also as fan control and temp monitoring are the only things I use it for. No overclock until I have better cooling available.

These drivers are 100% useless for me. They force my CRT (monitor) into a frequency range that can't work. So the monitor gives an invalid frequency error on the login screen. How do I know its the login screen if I cant see it. Cause it plays the start up sound. Don't know what these drivers are doing or why they would try to use a refresh rate or screen res that's outside the range of my monitor.

Silly question because I've never tried, but can you set the refresh and res before you reboot?

What about just Surround with no 3D? It'd be nice to have that first at least :(

Don't think so. The res was 640x480 when I installed the drivers. But I believe the drivers set their own res and refresh rates after rebooting. I think my problem is something is bugging out causing an extremely high refresh rate like over 100hz or a very high res, either one of these will cause the monitor to not display a picture and give an error instead.
