I am thinking of putting back my IBM P260 21" CRT back. I was able to do 100Hz @ 1280 x 1024 when I had XP on. But I hear Windows 7 has issues where it is locked at 85Hz. Is this issue fixed in a new driver? I would like to know before I lug that huge a$$ monitor from the basement.

Also I am thinking of getting the nvidia 3d vision kit. Will it work with my CRT?

No idea.... I actually have that exact same monitor/heater

You could use something like reforce (aka RefreshForce), where it mods the registry to only use the refresh rates you specify (max for each resolution by default) - except change it to whatever rate you need.

I tried it but 3d vision refused to pick it up. I have gone up and gone for a true 3d ready lcd.
