ATI Demos On NV3x

I just loaded all the ATI demo's for the 9700 and 9800.
My 5800U runs all demo's sweet with AA/AF on and everything. :D

Can someone tell me how the 5800 and up are not Fully DX9 ready?

It seems it's a ready as the 9800. ;)

Just thought I would post this because I've never seen it before.

Nvidia did a good job on the 44.90 drivers. Heck the demo's look better on my 5800u than my 9700. :beer:

mmm..that cant be possible remember that Nvidia NV3x cards are
not directx9 compliant -like the INquirer says,and too slow to run anything that is PS2.0 :angel2:

But you dont know the extent dx9 was used in these demos....

Yeah, I guess I do...but it just impressed me so much I reckon for showing off advanced graphics features as well as being kewl as hell.

It still boggles me mind that my computer is capable of generating that in real time! (Hey, my first 'puter was a VIC-20! ;) )

well.. can you imagine if Nvidia manage to demostrate ATi best demo the monkey in a Fx5200 . even if it is slow.. that will be a huge marketing tool for OEM$ in Nvidia low end cards . :)

Well this is very surprising. I wonder how representative ATI's demos are of DX9. If the NV30 can run them better than the 9700, then maybe it's not such a bad DX9 card after all!

Hrm you sure caves is running right? On my 9700 pro there is that wavy line distortion heat effect on parts of the screen over the fire
