Well, I've buid a notebook with a Nvidia Geforce 2 Go and a SXGA (1400x1050)

I've installed Debian SID, with the 4.2.1 version of Xfree.

At first all works fine, good colours, fast, etc, but the screen its a few small that the total of the LCD.

so I donwload the NVIDIA driver. Install it, fix a problem about the kernel module (the installer don't add nvidia to my /etc/modules file) and reboot.

and here start the strange. I have 3D accelerated, I have full screen. But I only get 24Depth at 1024x768, if I go up the resolution the colors depth goes lower. I see the logs, and don't saw anything strange. I read some post of this forum and don't solve the problem.

I recompiled the kernel (2.4.21) and nothing. I try to go back to the "nv" driver and work, I have 24 Depth colours, and 1280x1024 but no in full screen, no 3D, etc..

Any idea? I add all the files you ask.
