I'm looking to get a new headset with a mike to play Bad Company 2. I haven't bought one in years and wanted to know what is good and what sucks basically. Looking at spending around $200 US give or take. May spend more if there is something worth the extra. Any help is appreciated. :)

Have you thought about using a mix of cheap-as-dirt microphone and high quality headphones? That's the combo I am using, and the headphone quality is probably much better than the headphones which would come with headset.

That might be a go because i have the Sennheiser 595 headphones, but haven't been using them because I speak with my mates using Steam ingame.

Yeah me too', I'm thinking of getting this to use with my Denon AHD2000 headphones.

I have two that I use frequently.
Ety ER6i's with Zalman Mic or my triton ax (the cheap ones) like 55 bucks i think. I use them for my ps3 when I play bc2 and they aren't the best but get the job done.

Just bought these last week. Very happy with both, although you need an amp to make the cans shine. Came out to be around $350 but worth every penny imo. :)

However if you want a cheaper solution go with the PC350s.
