View Full Version : Problem with TV Out

Fairly new to Linux. I bought a system specifically to run as an entertainment unit, therefore TV out option of the graphics card was important.

I'm running Fedora 13 64 bit, I have the latest driver 195.36.24 installedworks beautifully btw, with a 7050 PV / nForce 630a. I can access the Nvidia panel, works with my monitor fine, but fails to render correctly to my old crt tv screen. I see some vague patterns on the TV, what look like screens wobbling in and out, but nothing more.

What i did was started the system with my dell monitor, went to the autodetect button, changed the monitor, and clicked the autodetect. I know that I am clicking on it, because Nvidia recognizes it isn't seeing my dell monitor anymore, but no clear picture. It defaults to a crt monitor.

I have searched this and quite a few other forums for possible help directions, read through the entire help section provided with the driver, but failed to recognize any association. (may have missed it)

A shove in the right direction would be appreciated.
