OK, I have to say that is extremely cool. It's like RivaTuner built into the driver control panel.

I'm hoping that ATi gets its butt in gear and drops this on the people before the end of the year. I think Catalyst 3.7 would be a tad aggressive for all this new stuff, but you never know... :D

If you guys didn't notice they let you choose forms of Antialiasing from Supersampling to Multisampling , one goes to 4x max other to 6x , can use whatever you like ;) Extremely cool thing from ATI.

This option, unlike the others, features an additional parameter which controls its method. The choices are between Super-sampling and Multi-sampling. Super supports up to 4x filtering and Multi up to 6x. More detailed explanations are available on the pages dealing with Image Quality. The slider next to this option controls its setting, with a range from OFF to 6x (for Multi-sampling).
Neat design :)
and yeah the options as well is good :D
None of these options will be implemented into the windows Catalyst drivers. M$/Mac driver teams are different and I have the alpha version on the Catalyst 4.0 drivers and I have NO access to any of those options.
PS: This is all in my head.
PPS: Catalyst Maker said that these options will never come out in his drivers.

It would be kinda nice if the Windows drivers had the same control panel features the MACs have..
Go figure... it's not a huge deal anyhow..

i wish nvidia's drivers had that for windows ... i'm lookin for a program that lets you specify your AA and AF settings and save them to a profile for each game ...

Wouldn't those settings be mysteriously overridden somehow? ;)

Actually it kinda makes sence, it would be kinda hard for app detection, unless for each game to work perfectly (due to updates and some loader programs then call games) with the PC, becuase there are so many.
But with the mac they only have to worrie about 2 games! (oh man, i can play the mac puzzle with 6x AA!)

They might not have all the games, but they do have all the quality ones.
Don't makes this into a pissing contest between PCs and Macs.

I've been waiting for a profile tool built into the drivers since last September when I got my 9700Pro.
Hope they'll release it soon.

The features and layout is very nice.. I still hope that we'll get something like that for Windows. Don't make me buy a 9800 for my mac. :(
