Last I checked... Chris Bosh went to the Heat to win a championship too. Chris Bosh obviously knew Lebron was coming as well, otherwise he would have joined Chicago.

Yea Lebron had a TV show to announce where he was going. It also benefited the Boys and Girls Club. Is that wrong for Lebron wanting to do something that will give to Charity? On top of all that, the show drew crazy ratings. It was entertaining to watch. Isn't that the point of TV? Or is it much better to watch the latest Reality Drama TV show?

Lets get back to Bosh. Bosh has been public about how much he's wanted to leave the Raptors high and dry. Does this public ridicule make Bosh any better? Bosh has been with the Raptors the same amount of years. Should Lebron have insulted Cleveland like Bosh has insulted Toronto?

I really don't understand what everyone is mad about. If Lebron wasn't performing at A+ level, Dan Gilbert would have shipped Lebron off to the first team he could have gotten a hold of. Owners trade players all the time without "asking". Owners also publicly state the players they have problems with on national TV. So what makes them any better?

Bottom Line. People are getting way too worked up over this. Players come and go. This is entertainment. Sports are entertainment. Take it and leave it as that.

Bosh was the closest to a leader than any player in that time on the Raps. He genuinely cared about the team i think, and always took losses hard. Is he as good as Wade. No. Can he be a huge difference maker? Absolutely.
I am not sure how Bosh ridiculed Toronto. Any links?

Because he didn't have a 1-hr special.

Cleveland won over 60 games. Last time I checked that was a pretty damn good record. How many games did the Raptors win?

Had Lebron left some sub-500 team then everyone would understand. He left a team and city that was really going all out to win and keep him happy.

And as to his narcissistic televised special, it's like your girlfriend having a tv special to announce that she is going to dump you. How cruel is that?

Cleveland won over 60 games.
With Lebron having to carry the entire team on his back.

EVERY championship team in the NBA throughout history has had help. Lebron hasn't.

i will never understand the idolization of sports players
playing sports is fun
watching friends and or family play sports is fun
carrying on about how some guy ( who i'll never meet ) does his job ( which is not the same as my job or doesn't have any effect on me) just seems insane
i think the fans share at least some of the blame for how these clowns act
not that all pro sports players are clowns

but at the same time i was pretty mad when Brittney spears hooked up with k fed :captnkill:

I guess it depends on the guy doing his job.

Kobe - Pretty accessible if you live in Orange County (He is cool to say hi and talk for a few if you find him out and about.)

Ron Artest - VERY accessible. Just follow his twitter for a while and you will likely meet him.

I haven't met Artest yet, but I have met Kobe...

**EDIT** Sorry, On topic. No one cares about Bosh because we just consider Canada the US's largest national park...

Yes, but I thought the "hat" one was a tad cliche for my purposes...

That is EXACTLY what the special was.
