Overclocked to 3.3ghz to run a stupid benchmark.

hows this compared to my e8400. I need quadcore but dont want to spend much over it !!!

Single threaded the e8400 is faster. Obviously multithreaded the Q9300 should be faster.

The Q9300 is 2.5GHz with 6MB L2 cache. So it's actually 1/2 the cache per core of the e8400. Even still, it should be a pretty decent chip. Looks like the Q9300 should be 2 E7200s stuck together.
