Hi. I tried all the possible combinations - and I'm still stuck. I have a Quadro 980XGL on an Intel Motherboard (845E chipset). Everything works smooth except the Dual DVI output of the Quadro card (the card has dual DVI outputs).
The monitors are Dell 2000FP (1600x1200@60Hz LCDs), working fine.
However:
- the dual output works fine in the 15pin dual monitor analog setup;
- each DVI output works fine as single monitor digital setup setup;
- any combination of DVI + analog (mon 1 DVI + Mon 2 analog or Mon 2 DVI + Mon 1 analog) works well (spanned desktop and everything)
- THE DUAL DVI SETUP boots ok, has images on both monitors, the Windows (XP or 2K) startup splash is ok. However, when splash startup ends, one of the monitors darkens (when entering the hi-res mode) and it remains like that. The other one is fine. If changing to the analog mode - the image reappears (albeit analog - thus more blurry than the DVI one).
Well - the NVidia Control Panel detects - in fact - one Analog and one DVI monitor (both monitors are IDENTICAL).
Is tehre a workaround to force the NVidia Control panel to see two DVI monitors and output images on both DVI heads?
Thank you, DusaC
