I love the keyboard, it goes back to the larger size and extra keys of the original G15.

I am going to get the keyboard and headset. Still thinking about the mouse. The extra buttons are appealing because I can move macro's to them instead of the G-keys.

I am hoping they have a "lower" end keyboard with fewer G-keys. I only use about 8 of them, don't need the gigantic number plus g1, g2, g3 switching personally.

Definitely getting the keyboard. My old 1st gen G15 is falling apart :p

It's cool the mouse has a charge cable. It was so annoying with my MX1000. If it went flat gaming I had to stop and put it in it's cradle and connect another mouse.

Thats what I love about the headset as well.

I wouldn't trade my MX518 for no other mouse right now, but damn that G510 keyboard is sexy. :naughty: Do want.

Pre-ordered the keyboard. Should arrive in a few weeks...

Cool. Let me know how it is in terms of size and layout compared to the G-15 :D

I am very tempted but having a slightly smaller keyboard would be preferable.

will wait for it to show up in local CompUSA or Frys, would be nice to see it before buying it.

glad I didn't buy it yet.

Weak backlights also do not help this keyboard even if we can customize the color to whatever we could want.

These issues make this keyboard hard to recommend at the current retail price of $120.

Its not bad overall apparently, but doesn't seem to fix any of the misses on the original G-15 that the newer models were dealing with.

Still want to see more reviews honestly :D

My friend has a pair of MX1000s, so when one dies he just swaps it for the other one.

That's why I loved my G7. Quick swap Lithium-Ion battery packs :D

My 1st gen G15 died on me a few weeks ago (okay well the switch that disables the windows key was stuck so I took it apart to fix it. I fixed the switch but in the process buggered up the contact sheet thing so some keys didn't work.) Now I'm using my G11 that I had laying around.

Looks like a pretty sexy keyboard. I'd buy one if I needed a new one. Anybody used the mouse yet?

its available for over a month at select online stores. Newegg was the first.

retail stores like: Best Buy, Microcenter, CompUSA/Tiger Direct, or Frys when I checked 2-3 days ago still don't have it.

I'm waiting for retail store, so I can actually see the product, i wanted to buy either G19 or G110 before, but when I actually saw the keyboard it looked rather cheap.

Multi-key input
Press any five keys at the same time and they will all be recognized, so you can do more things at once.

doesn't that sound a bit low? only 5?

come on, they could do better then that
http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/press/2010/feb10/02-01msx4keyboardpr.mspx

and having 5 fingers, you can often press more then 5 keys ;).

with thumb you can press 2 some letter and space bar for example.

even with normally you press 3-4 at a time, 5 buttons at a time just doesn't give a lot of room.

I got my corporate discount coupon today from Logitech so I am going to buy the headset :)

Probably will wait on the keyboard for a bit. The mouse is still very tempting.

those headphones look pretty heavy....probably not good for long gaming hours.

Lighter than my old Turtle beach headset and the support is pretty good.

those that did buy the G510, can you post your opinions, some pictures (especially at night in dark room)

i got the G510 yesterday, dissapointed so far :(

1) keys seem to be less visible then on my old G15
2) LCD is far worse then on G15, its tiny, its so deep inside the keyboard that the frame around it blocks the view. when sitting back in my chair I don't see the bottom part of it, in Logitech Performance monitor I can see the CPU % and the bar, but I only see the top portion of the letters RAM %, and bar is not visible.
3) really don't like the high arch on the palm rest
4) it doesn't display volume change on the LCD, not sure why, when I turn that "roll bar" LCD will not show the volume change

i hate the fact that display is regressed inside the keyboard, if i lean back in the chair bottom part of is not visible.

only way i can see it if i sit at perfect 90 degrees and look almost straight down at it.
