AMD XP 2400+ and 2600+

How many have actually recieved it? Or actually seen it in Retail shops????
I am geting tired of waiting for this cpu...rather getting impatient. Intel look an option for the first time since they slashd thir prices and retail outlets should be reflecting that soon. Come ON AMD ship some 2400+ and 2600+ already

You can't buy them yet retail or otherwise. You won't be able to get them till late Late september.

For how much? I remember reading the price somewhere but am too lazy to go find it ;)

BTW, will this push the prices of the older processor down any significant amount? I already heard about Intel's enormous price cuts but have heard nothing from AMD. Anybody have any scuttlebutt?

I think they will first come out at about 260$ and 220$ (2600 and 2400)

It's only a guess but it sounds about right. As for the 2200+ it can already be had for less then 150$. Im sure it will drop down to the 120$ or less range once the new chips come out, and the new chips prices are likely to fall quick as well.
