hi,
i have just purchased the following monitor: Philips 223E, LCD 22', 16:9 using a VGA connector, for a rather old machine with GeForce 44MX AGP8 and Windows XP
i'm looking for a way to disable the scaling for resolutions that are below the native (i.e surround the screen with black space and do not scale to fit)
now...afaik newer nvidia drivers and cards support this options from the forceware control panel, e.g.:

but the latest driver for 440MX (which is 93.71 from y2006) does not have this option (and possibly the card itself does not support it?)
is there any way to make this work?
thanks.
