You guys missed the other thread? IIRC it's set in the late 1800's early 1900's in a fictional floating sky city. New screens looks pretty good but it's a very different atmosphere, that for sure. I guess there will have to be other parts that look more spooky.

I like it. I like that era and the steampunk look.

I like this look A LOT better than Bioshock. The original two were underwater, correct? Never paid too much attention because the monster/sci fi games don't interest me, however, this new setting does. Will definitely follow this.

Bioshock 1 and 2 weren't sci-fi nor had any monsters in the game. It had a steampunk style and mutated humans.

I never got Bioshock 2, too many "mehs" out of too many users, but this does look interesting. That trailer in the other thread for this game looked quite good.

I think he means you said monsters/sci-fi don't interest you but this new setting does.

It should have the same amount of sci-fi influences as the first two, just, slightly different sci-fi.

I personally like sci-fi set in the past, especially in some sort of artistically rich period such as this and the art deco theme the first went with. This approach delivers a much better atmosphere than the generic future sci-fi we've had in hordes.

I don't know...I get what Bearclaw is saying. But when I think Sci-fi, I think Alien vs. Predator.

Andrew Ryan should be a boy in this game.

The trees, grass and character models look kinda ugh

Everything looks kinda ugh, but then it's covered with bloom so you can't actually see anything. I don't mind it though, it does seem to have a unique atmosphere. So far it just looks eerie because of the setting. It's definitely not a spooky setting like the first though, I'm hoping some indoor areas will create the same sort of effect the first had.

I don't mind a colorful game as I have had my fill of games that use a brown/gray color scheme. The whole steampunk vibe to Bioshock Infinite is really appealing to me.

Looks cool.

I liked the underwater setting in the first game. It made me feel so isolated from everything else. All you had was the cold, watery, and broken environment and the crazy people that lived there. Gloom and desperation and all that... I didn't get quite the same feeling from the second, dunno why.

Looks open world almost. I like what I see so far, different is good.
