Did you use a program to get this info? I would like to check the memory bus on my card.

That was fast. Thanks.

rivatuner told me that the mem bus on my 4 chip 128mb 5200 was 128 bit.... it tend to not believe it's validity in that dept...

nv33?!

whaa?!

So, can you elaborate on exactly what NV33 is now? I know it's been a cause of confusion for some time....

Right now it's a 5900 reporting to be NV33. Sorry to burst your bubble guys. Better tell you now before it gets outa hand :angel2:

It's still funny that it sees it as NV33 though.

NVIDIA specific display adapter information
---------------------------------------------------
Graphics core : NV20 revision A5
Hardwired ID : 0200
Memory bus : 128-bit
Memory type : DDR (RAM configuration 0a)
Memory amount : 65536KB
Core clock : 199.656MHz
Memory clock : 229.088MHz (458.176MHz effective)
Reference clock : 14.318MHz
Maximum Fvco : 600.000MHz
Core PLL Fvco : 399.313MHz
Memory PLL Fvco : 458.176MHz

This is what I get..

However WhatCPU and NVidia's control panel (Additional Info Page) tells me that I have a Geforce 3 revision A3...

So.. go figure.. it's a terrible bug.. LOL

There is nothing wrong in your report. ;) A3 is early (buggy) revision of NV20 with screwed 3D textures support, all currently existing and selling NV20 are A5. Furthermore, WCPUID and NV CPL report PCI device revision, and RT reports _core_ revisoin. Do you feel a difference? Try to unmount GPU cooler and look at revision on it ;)

BTW NV35 is not fully supported by RT yet, and documentation clearly states:

Memory bus type detection for NV3x based boards is not implemented yet. Currently all NV2x+ based boards are detected as 128-bit.

ya i noticed the same thing but rivatuner states it doesnt offically support the newest dets when you run it.

For a dumb question then...

When is the next rivatuner to be expected?

Also, how would I test the broken feature (if it was broken) of the NV20.. this is an original GF3 (not a Ti, the Ti series has the newer revision, I would expect)

If Its a 5900 I thought they had 256 memory bus? Is the big [N] tell stories about that now???? WTF?

EDiT: Just finished reading the thread... and read about the riva tuner deal.. Damn conspiracy theorists... DOH!!
