What this means to me is that next generation's equivalent to this card will perform more like a GTX 460, meaning that I will be able to play 2010's games at 1920x1080 at medium to highest settings with a little AA on a small, quiet and low-profile HTPC.
Even now, with this card, HTPC 720p gaming at very high image quality settings is much more of a possibility than ever, and that's a good thing.
