Alex Voicu over at Beyond3d has just published an article titled "NVIDIA Fermi GPU and Architecture Analysis (http://www.beyond3d.com/content/reviews/55/1)". For whatever reason Alex et. al decided to refer to Fermi as "Slimer"in the article, and the testing portions of the article (a custom-crafted C++ suite) featured a token GF100 (a GTX 470) and a Cypress chip (HD 5870).

Some interesting assertions are made in the article, particularly regarding differing tessellated and non-tessellated triangle performance/handling between the GF100 consumer cards and the Quadro variants, insinuating that a driver cap is in place for whatever reason.

There is more... much, much more. If you want details, details and more details on the Fermi architecture and how it relates to Cypress (as well as the older GTX 285), then this article (http://www.beyond3d.com/content/reviews/55/1) might be up your alley.
