Nice. What RAM you going with? Same stuff you have?

Also, I'd go with a nice big heatsink/fan instead of the hydro. But it will perform well.

Yea it'll be fine. :)

Let us know how you like the X6. That motherboard looks like a beast too.

Will do. Putting it together tomorrow :)

Strange build IMO. Super expensive board/case/cpu cooler and then a midrange chip and gfx card. Will still be awesome no doubt though.

Maybe a little, but not too bad. GTX 460 is plenty for today's games (especially at 1680x1050) and after OC'ing the X6, he should be able to get some great performance out of it.

Yup, i saved money on the CPU since i'm going for minimum 3.7 ghz on it. I saved on the GFX card since i only have a 22" TFT :) And then there are som money for the next gen cards :)

I went all in on the case since it have SATA hot swap and really nice cable management.

I don't know man, to me you wasted money on somethings, but it looks ok, so hopefully you will enjoy it!

Also i could easy go for 3 x 460's :) Easy performance upgrade.

Unfortunately 460s only support 2x SLI (only one SLI bridge on a 460).

To be fair, if overclocked, the 1055t becomes a high-end CPU, performing as good or better than the top-of-the-line 1095t. And maybe that one GTX 460 will soon see another 460 next to it?

I dunno, but I like this build. :) Good luck/good job PJ. :)

Except that board doesn't support sli afaik. I'm not trying to be a downer I just think that you could save a couple hundred bucks and lose 0 performance, but it's your PC and you can do whatever you want :D

If I had the money to blow on an 800D I'd probably do the same thing because your build just ends up so damn sexy.

Except you cant have SLI with AMD because nvidia is gay like that.

I can't?

Oh, I thought HIS motherboard had SLI support. Should have looked closer.

thats because it has an nvidia chipset. If it was an amd chipset, no sli for you unless you use hacked drivers.

Whooot i thought the board could do sli. Where do i find info about hacked drivers?

It's a lot easier to just get a motherboard that supports it. But then you are stuck with poor nvidia chipsets, unless you go with an intel chipset.
