Obviously I can't say anything specific about the GPU at this time, but I can say that "an NVIDIA GPU" is being tested and stressed as much as possible with a 4ghz x6 and a 1920x1080 LCD. I can understand a want for performance info at higher resolutions, but this is the highest-rez LCD that I have at this time, and I'm willing to bet that there are quite a few high-end GPU owners out there who use this resolution as well, so I believe there will be plenty of value in performance info at this resolution.

1920 x 1080 and/or 1920 x 1200 seems to be the new norm for gaming. At least I'm seeing more and more monitors sporting this resolution. Thinking about it more it's probably tied with 1680 x 1050... but I can see it quickly becoming the norm. :)

I don't have much for power consumption measurement tools. I will talk about the TDP, heat/noise levels/any added stresses to the system due to the addition of this GPU... and maybe some fun with overclocking if the rig can handle it. ;)

Future reviews will utilize a Kill A Watt. :)

Nah, the whole tone of my post came out wrong.

Cost plus the grief I went through getting the parts kit for my current gfx cooler...I'd not be very happy if it wouldn't fit the 580 also and I seriously doubt the 580's cooler handles heat and noise like this one does.
