Sadly it is Kepler which should be the one to give decent speed boost. ;)

I think he means that we'll have to wait another 9-12months for a major upgrade to the GTX480.

Hoo boy I just saw these up on Newegg before I went to bed. $560 for the cheapest! At least theres that 10% off promo, although it looks like its for one card only as I added two to my shopping cart and was still just $50 off.

Hardocp's review. They have given the GTX 580 a Gold Award.

We feel NVIDIA deserves big praise for the GTX 580! It has impressed us with its incredible gameplay and exceeded all of our expectations in terms of cooling and sound. It provides a better gameplay experience than the GeForce GTX 480, uses less power, and runs cooler. All of this adds up to the fact that we feel the GeForce GTX 580 earns our Gold [H] Editor's Choice award.

We're delayed in getting our review up; I'm working to get it up on the forums ASAP; it will be put on the site ASAP after that.

Maybe you can leak the drivers in the meantime? ;) Don't worry, we won't tell anyone :D

Really wish they would have done a review @ 1920x1080/1200 as well. The Eyfinity 5870 held it's own surprisingly well in some of those tests.

Sold. While my 285s have held up well, I'm tired of owning an under-desk space heater (and that's with the fans running at 90% in an open case).

I bought two of the EVGA cards. Hopefully they'll be here Friday.
