So I just picked up CoD: Warchest (http://store.steampowered.com/sub/222/) off Steam for $29.99 and MoH: 10th Anniversary Bundle (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001E6DG6Y/ref=ord_cart_shr?ie=UTF8&m=A1VC38T7YXB528) for $25.00 shipped.

So about $50 for about 8 games... all epic to boot. Not bad. :p

Used to own all these, but played them to death (literally, discs no longer worked so I tossed 'em :( ).

I'm really wanting to play MoH:AA where you're storming the beach of Normandy. God that was such an intense, adrenaline pumping part of the game. And since these are all older titles I'll likely rock them with 24xAA. :D

However, I would enjoy some more modern WWII based games but don't know of any. MoH and CoD have both gone towards "modern" combat. Are ya'll aware of any more recent WWII based games?

Thanks ya'll. :)

Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad.

I haven't tried it myself yet but heard very good things about it.

I'm still waiting for battlefield 1943 pc. I know people get burnt out on ww2 but I personally like them more than modern games. Seems like moh airborne was the last aaa ww2 game

Thanks... but that's not available till next year, right? Looks very interesting none the less. :) Could be a fun game.

I hear ya'. I think we need a lot more of 'em. I'd love to see CoD and MoH return to WWII, or even do some Vietnam. If they push to make it a AAA title I'm sure it'd be stellar. :)

Not much of an on-line gamer. I can get into co-op like L4D/L4D2 for a little bit. Mostly a SP gamer. :)

What a radical partaking from where the series started. I'm not sure how they managed to pull off such a shift in setting when all their games have had a modern setting since the get go.

Ive played all the games named here and ill have to say that W@W is the best WW2 FPS there is. I thought it was an amazing game and wish we could get more. Modern settings are so limited and boring to me.

Its looking pretty good, i love the graphical style they have taken it makes the game look retro but modern if you know what i mean. :D
