No- that's the whole point. They want it to simulate the feel of the game.

First time you go off roading the engine will fall out. Don't worry though, they're gonna' release an engine re-installation kit that you can purchase later.

Driving through town your breaks will likely stick causing a "stuttering" while driving. Again, they'll release a break-repair kit that you can later purchase.
