Hi all,

Forgive me if this is a stupid question. I'm building a new computer and I ordered the EVGA SuperClocked 015-P3-1582-AR GeForce GTX 580 (Fermi). Should I download the drivers for this from the nVidia website or from the evga website? Or are they the same thing?

Also, other than the main driver, is there any other programs I should install as well (for example on my current system I also installed nvidia system monitor).

either site can get you to the drivers. i usually get mine from the nvidia site, just so you know you aren't getting some beta release if you don't want to. you can get the newest beta drivers here on the forums if you want.

looks like it's going to be a nice rig, enjoy.

the newer whql's for the gtx 580 right now are on the evga website for some reason and not the nvidia. They are the 263.09's. The best place to check is the nvnews driver forums. They usually have links to the latest whql and beta drivers otherwise.

Thank you. When I am ready to install my card I will check both sites and the forum to see which are the latest drivers. Thanks.
