Is it me or is this guide pure crap? No one needs to spend $1K on a good HTPC first of all. I spent roughly $600 on mine two years ago and it's still pumping out 1080P like crazy. What about Boxee? Boxee is a great front-end solution; it's basically XBMC with web apps that actually work.

I expected a little more from a "HTPC guide".
