Alright I need a printer that can print about 6000-7000 papers a year. ( color ) without dying

I bought a Epson Workforce 40 and a CISS from http://www.inkproducts.com/ink-store/

It worked alright for around 3000 pages and now I cant get it to work right. I cant get any black out of it. and all the colors are faded. I tried cleaning the Heads, I bought cleaner for it. I purged the CISS. I tried retail cartridges.

Im not sure what else to try and don't want to spend anymore money to fix it.

My question is. Does anyone have experience with a great CISS compatible printer that has a good track record, will last longer then half a year, and hopefully decent colors. (workforce 40 colors sucked)

Im looking for value here. Cheaper the better but Im willing to spend 200-300. I got the workforce 40 setup including CISS for $150.

I had similar issues with my laser printer at work, had to dismantle it and clean the laser reflectors (they had a thin layer of dust/toner on them ) and afterwards the colors where full again.
