With P67 Sandy Bridge motherboards about to be released in the wild, Expreview has published a couple previews.

First up is a look at Asrock's LGA 1156 P67 Transformer motherboard (http://en.expreview.com/2010/12/27/msi-p67a-gd65-motherboard-previewed/13364.html), featuring 8+2 power circuitry and a UEFI BIOS.

EFI/UEFI is a term/technology on its own, not a special type of BIOS. I think the wording "UEFI BIOS" is irritating.
Nothing important, just as a feedback remark ;)

We're still in transitional times; a lot of people still don't know what UEFI is. Sorry it irritates you but there was some thought behind why I worded it that way.

If the future of processors is really hybrid CPU/GPU chips, then it seems AMD has a large advantage over Intel. That is, unless Intel adopts some proprietary architecture used to communicated between the two. Intel has an uncanny ability to get the market to adapt to their changes.
