OK.

I am about to receive a 5900U OEM (not sure if it is an engineering sample or not) from UPS today.

I read a few posts in here about the eVGA performance BIOS and people flashing them to hit higher clock speeds and also get rid of the flickering problem.

Can I flash my card with these BIOS? Any way to do it if not?

Thanks!:o

I thought the only change in eVGA's BIOS was the upping of the core/RAM clock from 450/850 to 500/900 MHz. Why would you want to do this via a BIOS update and not via CoolBits or any other tweak program?

If the card can't take the eVGA frequencies, than it will freeze on you anyway. But, since your card is probably made by NVIDIA at FlexTronics and the eVGA is too, I think you can flash it with eVGA's BIOS.

I've got the eVGA model but to download the bios from them, it will ask you for your cards serial number before the download starts.............Tom
