Maybe this should be posted in egneral hardware but i dont need to fix something... i need to break it
Anyone know how best to break a standard CRT monitor without being obvious? Cos theyre replacing them with ncie flat pannel screens now, far better for my eyes..

Use refresh force to set the refresh rate too high so it won't display anything when you boot. Or you could pretend to clean it and have it "fall" off your desk. Don't forget to feign sorrow/guilt when you do it. ;)

How do i get past the 15 second delay where it turns back to the origional refresh rate though?

After you leave pour some water in it. That sucker should be fried by your next day in the office.:)

you confirm the too high refresh rate via the enter key if thats what you are talking about.

im quite happy to have a flatscreen here at the moment. makes me wish i had one at home too :)
