I voted Win 7 (64). I kinda wonder some days if XP would be faster at times, but Windows 7 is best for 64bit, latest updates and all round ease of use.

From current ones, Win7.
A decent OS with DX11 is nice combination.

What I would love to see one day is low level kernel and game on top, similar to what we saw on Amiga and now on consoles. (and Dos.)
Direct access to metal is simply fun. ;)

Went for windows 7 as it covers DX10 and DX11 games. I do believe that windows XP might perform a few fps better in some older games but with the CPU's and GPU's we have these days this difference would hardly be noticable, if at all.

I voted Win7 but Vista should not even be an option.

The only option these days is Win7 IMO to gain access to the full potential of your GPU (as long as its a DX10 or above one).

Fo sho! Windows 3.1 really didn't have that much game. If you wanted to run a game you were better off just booting into DOS.

I voted Win7 but Vista should not even be an option.

Multiple tests have confirmed that Vista gaming is nowhere near as bad as many people claim it is.

If I play anything anymore, it's the occasional Starcraft 2. FPS games have been dead to me this year, but I am excited for BF3.

BFBC2 is the only game I have installed on my PC.

Win 7 64bit - fewer problems than all other OSes I've used combined.
