Custom refresh rate is not valid。This driver can not lock at any other refresh rate except the 60 HZ in the CRT.

When I play games, CRT monitors always use 60 Hz refresh rate, even if I set a custom resolution and refresh rate. This phenomenon does not exist in the 26x.xx drivers.

I still get the crazy flickering in Crysis 2 :( My fps are higher though.

Good beta drivers.
Fix a lot of bugs and there is a nice performance boost for the GTX 5xx series at last

I hope Nvidia releases some new Official drivers soon
266.58 are meh... :thumbdwn:

I can confirm flickering with Crysis 2. With 4xx only water flickers, with 2xx series all over.
Another thing i should mention is that nvidia update service is weird. It creates additional account under your user folder called UpdateUsr or Temp in some instances.

these driver are from nvidia, hence they are official. haha

WHQL means little to nothing these days. WHQL has nothing to do with game bugs/performance. It just means that nvidia payed MS to test the driver and make sure it doesn't crash windows.

Funnily enough, I've had more problems with WHQL drivers than betas.

They still don't have an SLI profile for Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. It's OK though, I can just copy the Assassin's Creed II profile over to the Assassin's Creed Brotherhood executable. Works fine.

Crud. The brightness reset is back with these drivers. What's the deal with that? The brightness issue has been a problem for years. Some drivers fix, and others bring back. Baffled.

the crysis flickering is a xfire/sli/multi-gpu issue. Goto mycrysis.com and enter the forums. They have confirmed it there. So, it seems to be a game issue with multiple cards or gpus on one card (eg. gtx 590 and amd 6990). Sucks because I have turn off one gpu to play the game. I didn't buy a gtx 590 for that reason. Come on, Crytek and EA. Poor testing before release.

Complete system freeze 5 second into the menu of Dawn of War 2: Retribution in Quad SLI (2x 295 GTX)

Reverted to 267.91, everything fine.

Either these drivers made my computer randomly restart while playing league of legends multiple times (it never happened before) or the power surges caused by the storm today did (I have my PC plugged into an APC battery backup and turned it off whenever the power went out)... went back to older drivers but havent had a chance to test if it fixed the issue or not yet.

Finally, 3D vision drivers are installed with the video drivers.

I wonder what took them so long
