Thought I'd share some pics on what this motherboard can support. I've had the B3 replacement mb about a week now. I've got two 3-slot videos cards with enough room for my sound card on it. If you are running nvidia it comes with a 3-way bridge and an extra long sli bridge for a two card setup. Had to get an extra long xfire bridge from Amazon.

At first I was like... when I saw 3 GPUs. I wonder how well a setup like that scales given they are different clock speeds. Definitely a sweet setup though.

I need to do something about my board soon. Was hoping to see some info about Z68 before I RMA'ed my board. If it requires the lucid chip just to enable onboard along with a dedicated GPU I'll just RMA my board and not worry about it.

I have all three gpus' @ 850/1200 when not benching. No problems with scaling.

Nice rig mate!!

I inquired about replacing my P8P67 Deluxe for a b3 board but was told that I would have to prove i have a symptoms of the issues!!!! if my board stops working after say 3 years they will replace it but by then the P8P67 will probably not exist. It seems that in the USA you can just take your board back and they will replace it, no worries. So why in NZ are ASUS treating this issue differently??

I am running my 2 HDs on the Intel SATA 6gbps ports and my SATA DVD writer off the one of the 3gbps so hoping i don't run into any issues. i guess after 3 or so years I won't have this board anyway but it seems that ASUS is taking a more casual approach to replacing boards for us here in New Zealand which is not cool.

That doesn't seem right at all. I'd try again with Asus just encase the first person you talked to didn't have his/her ducks in a row. Or maybe you could talk to the place that sold you the board and see about getting a refund citing the intel6 defect recall bulletin. I had two avenues for replacing my mb. One through Asus and the other through Newegg. Newegg offered a full refund or a B3 replacement.

Thx for the compliment.:D

yeah i think I might approach them again about it. I'm not sure I can be as*ed replacing the board but then again I don't want the worry of the issue appearing down the line either!
