It's a matter of perspective. I have some friends who would find a 1Ghz rig to be an absolutely state-o-the-art gamer.

How about us folks who aren't gamers at all? I just bought a few IBM 300GLs that have PIII 1GHz, beefed up the video cards, added more RAM and gave em to my grandsons.

Total cost = $100 each and they run XP like champs !!

That's kind of what I was thinking too. An old P160 with a Voodoo3 can make a 3 year old awful damned happy! (I like fixing up old rigs and giving 'em to friends kids, it's a hobby. :) )
